Toronto Milestone Photography Session

Your baby is growing up right before your eyes and you want to capture their milestones - what better way than to celebrate with a Toronto milestone photography session.

At Precious Ones Photography, we are known for specializing in our Toronto newborn photography sessions. In the blink of an eye, the little newborns are doing tummy time, sitting up and moving all about. We were so honoured to have been little Mackenzie’s Toronto newborn photographer and created a beautiful gallery of newborn portraits a year ago. We love having our little clients come back and celebrate their incredible milestones and having their “cakes smash” session with us.

We created a Winter Wonderland theme to celebrate her January birthday. She was such a sweetheart, laughing and cuddling teddy bears. She has grown up so much since her Toronto newborn photography session! Toronto milestone sessions are so fun for parents as well because there are less things needed to prepare for compared to preparing for a newborn session. This winter themed set was the first set up during her Milestone Session and she just soaked it all the giggles. She was curious about all the toys, playing with mommy and beaming at us with all smiles.

Next up was our classic and timeless “cake smash” theme is a favourite set up for many first birthdays and Toronto milestone photography sessions. It is just a clean all-white, minimal prop, simple set up. Sometimes the less is more so we can focus on the precious little features, all while being mess-free. Our little ones have such a fun time playing with toys that we provide in the studio. Blocks and bubbles are usually a great hit!

This Toronto milestone photography Session was finished off with a set up we created for her Toronto newborn photography session with us a year ago. We used the same backdrop, same bucket, same florals, same headband, and of course – the same baby. It’s amazing to see newborns fitting a into little bucket, and now she stands just as tall behind it. We love creating before and after portraits because you really can see how much they have grown! It was an amazing Toronto milestone photography session and we are so thrilled to be part of this family’s journey.
