1. The Classic Belly Cradle for Pregnant Moms

One of the most iconic maternity poses is the belly cradle. Moms simply places her hands around baby bump to highlight the nice roundness of the glowing belly. This is typically a beautiful and tender moment of motherhood conveying the bond both share. Looking down ad baby bump with closed eyes is also a beautiful moment to accentuate the incredible feeling of being pregnant.

2. Black and White Silhouette pose in Maternity Photography

Keeping the portrait simple, yet stunning - I often love to create a silhouette portrait of mom. This focuses on the beautiful shape of the belly and mom's overall beautiful pregnancy curves. A little of flowing fabric will make the portrait even more breathtaking showing the essence of motherhood!

This next pose is one of my favourites as I love creating for mom while pregnant, and then again when baby is born. The details in both portraits convey how incredible this little miracle is and what a beautiful blessing each little footprint creates in the parents' lives. Including partner hands to complete this family portrait is just incredible.

Welcoming a baby is a celebration for everyone in the family! Including partner and siblings is a must for all of our maternity photoshoots. It is so adorable when the little ones are just as excited to meeting their baby brother or sister!

5. Lying Down Maternity Poses

One of the last poses I'll have mom end off her beautiful maternity photography session in on Toronto studio, is a lying down pose. It is an easy, yet incredible beautiful and serene portrait that highlights mom's beauty and her eagerness to meet baby. One hand by the belly and the other freeing resting by her head is just so beautiful in a simple way.

Maternity photography is an incredible celebration for the whole family. It celebrates the little miracle of new life,, love, and the beautiful journey of motherhood.
